Our commitment
Valtieri is committed to making its website valtieri.eu accessible to as many people as possible, in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and European Directive 2016/2102.
Compliance status
The website is in partial compliance with WCAG version 2.1. Level AA reached at 87% according to our last audit (March 2026, Empreinte Digitale agency).
Good practices in place
- 100% keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, Shift+Tab, Esc)
- Text contrast compliant with WCAG AA (ratio >4.5:1 everywhere)
- ARIA attributes on all interactive components
- Alternative text (alt) on 95% of content images
- Subtitles on 100% of hosted videos
- Forms with explicit labels and clear error messages
- Compatibility with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack
- Visible focus mode (outline) on all interactive elements
Known limitations
We are working to improve:
- A few old product pages without alt on secondary photos (~5% of the catalogue)
- The drop-down mega-menu can be complex with the keyboard (fix planned Q3 2026)
- Some manufacturer manual PDFs are not accessible (tagged PDFs) — we host them as is
